Mission Beach

Mission Beach

A laid-back neighborhood whose beautiful sands attract Sunbathers working on there tan maintenance, surfers and volleyball players. Belmont Park is a small amusement park with the “Giant Dipper” a wooden roller coaster built in 1925,A paved path curls around Mission Bay, a popular spot for water sports. Mission Boulevard is lined with southern California style cafes and eateries.

Pacific Beach

A beautiful long stretch of beach that is doted with cute surf shops and the iconic “Crystal Pier”. Great surfing and strolling down the board walk with your favorite partner. This one of the many locations you must visit while visiting Americas finest city. 

Ocean Beach

A bohemian community with that truly southern California vibe. the neighborhood is spotted with antique shops, beach wear and surf boutiques. A vibrant Farmers Market, organic groceries brew pubs and taquerias.

La Jolla Shores Beach and La Jolla Cove

A beautiful rugged coast line at low tide exposes tide pool and is an area full of wild life. Sea lions hang out on the bluffs and you see dolphins cruising of shore. La Jolla Shores Beach is very long and wide, and very popular. Fire pits and plenty of parking are the order of the day. La Jolla Cove is also amazing with renting a kayak to paddle out to explore the La Jolla Cave. La Jolla has some of the best upscale shopping in San Diego.

Imperial Beach

Imperial Beach is the southern most city in California and it’s beach is almost four miles long with year round lifeguards and plenty of beach volleyball, surfing and body surfing.  IB is one of San Diego’s best surfing spots, and has a great pier.

Windansea Beach

Windansea Beach is a stretch of coastline located south of  La Jolla . The main peak at Windansea is a reef break. During the winter months she can have six-to-eight foot surf and has served as home break to many notable surfers.

Blacks Beach

 Beneath the bluffs of Torrey Pines in San Diego is Blacks Beach. You have to climb down the cliffs or walk south a piece from Torrey Pines state beach. A under water canyon funnels swells into Black’s Beach, making it appealing to surfers but dangerous for inexperienced surfers and swimmers. Blacks Beach is the only clothing optional beach in San Diego, don’t need to say anything more about that.

Encinitas to Oceanside

The coast between Encinitas and Oceanside is known as Swamis and is dotted with palm trees beautiful beaches and small harbors and marinas. When you head south from the Oceanside pier it’s nothing but beach after beach. A beautiful long coastline with lots of shops and cafes all the way to Encinitas.

Trestles

Trestles is actually a number of beaches. Starting with Cottons Beach,upper Trestles, Middle Trestles, lower Trestles and the Church. all these surf spots are located at San Onofre State Beach close to the nuclear reactors run by SDGE
