San Diego Urban wineries

This is a list of beautiful little boutique wineries insanediego. Just a start, there are more than 100 wineries in San Diego County. Many are large production houses and some are small, check them out and you will  discover passionate winemakers with interesting pedigrees and life experiences growing a wide selection of varietals. Insanediegos  Mediterranean climate of long hot days and cool nights with ocean breezes makes for the best climate to grow the finest grapes.

Just an example I recently visited #10 on this list, “La Fleur’s Winery and the experience was typical for insanediego, it was wonderful! Experience some of our wonderful wines.

La Fleur's Winery

Over a decade ago we were introduced to a small urban winery and found the experience most intriguing. We started volunteering and participating in the process and haven’t stopped since. In 2013 we sold our family home in Oceanside to purchase a property where we could start a vineyard.
La Fleur’s Vineyards was established in 2014 in the fertile soils of the Hidden Valley Escondido area. During the spring of 2014 our first one hundred Petite Sirah vines were planted. This was an exciting time for our family and we enjoyed a planting party with close family and friends! We followed the next year and planted two hundred Zinfandel vines. We are excited to have harvested our first estate wine – Petite Sirah, now bottled and ready to share. Our passion continues to grow and we have now doubled our vineyard adding Cabernet Sauvignon.

Rashelica Winery and Art garden

Rashelica Winery & Art Garden is a cultural destination nestled in the hills of Ramona Valley, located off of Route 67. Visit our rustic, yet elegant winery where you will be greeted by a clusters of romantic statues as you walk up to our tasting terrace, where you can enjoy our quiet outdoor setting offering sweeping views of hills of vineyards.

While you are here, you can also enjoy a game of bocce ball or garden chess (with 3 feet pieces!). We have something for everyone!
